Doctrinal Statement

The Trinity

There is one God in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

The Deity and Humanity of Jesus Christ

Jesus is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose again.

The Authority of Scripture

The Bible is the Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error (inerrant).

Human Sin and the Fall

All people are sinners by nature and by choice due to the fall of Adam. We are spiritually dead and unable to save ourselves.

Salvation by Grace through Faith

Salvation is a gift from God, not earned by works or human effort. We are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

The Atonement and Resurrection of Christ

Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for sinners. He rose from the dead on the third day, defeating sin and death.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, regenerates hearts, and sanctifies lives. He empowers the Church and gives spiritual gifts to believers.

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers. Through the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), believers grow in grace and unity.

The Second Coming and Final Judgment

Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. Believers will receive eternal life, and unbelievers will face eternal judgment.
